Illusions and magic arts training can reframe the educational experience, leading to more efficient knowledge communication. From role model building to identifying innovative solutions and from questioning what we see to creating perception preparedness, the seminar presented in the Arts and Creativities Research Group of the Faculty of Education, discovered the multiple possibilities and the hidden, admirable elements that make our minds magical!
With the creative minds of Prof Pam Burnard’s group, we explored how we perceive and understand the world we live in, while we demonstrated methods to support our students leap to the future drawing inspiration from nature and from our concealed multiple magical intelligences! The discussion concluded with magic-based research method opportunities and challenges.
To increase perception preparedness we crafted the trilogy of talks for students: The Intelligence, Brain Training and Auto-misdirection and a concise CPD course for educators. are the three courses designed for students.
